Things have been busy. Since February, I've lost about seventy pounds and am intending to lose about another thirty or so. New pictures of the slim & trim me will be coming to the website.
In other news, I've spent the last couple of months doing research for my first novel, Soulless. The various book referenced have been The Physics of Immortality, The Science of God, Explaining Consciousness, Quantum Evolution, When Science Meets Religion, and Synaptic Self. If that doesn't get you interested, more information on the creation will be coming when writing commences in February.
I've joined Plotmongers, a SFF writing group in the Detroit area. I'm also part of a SF book discussion group that meets at a local Barnes & Noble. The sense of community is growing. If you're interested in learning about either of these groups, contact me through the webpage and I'll provide you with the contact information. As I get more involved with them, I'll put direct links to their information on the website, probably.
One final thing -- I'm currently in discussion with several members of Plotmongers about starting a new SF/F/H Webzine, Shades of Grey. So very shortly, I may be performing editorial duties on top of everything else I'm working with. If you have any ideas about what you'd really like to see in a new webzine, to make it stand out and meet the needs of the genre at this time, send me an e-mail with your ideas.
